Introduction
Château de Chambord is one of France’s most iconic castles, located in the Loire Valley. Built in the early 16th century, this Renaissance masterpiece was commissioned by King Francis I and is known for its distinctive architecture, including its double-spiral staircase and the grand roofline with turrets. The château is surrounded by a vast park and forest, which are perfect for outdoor activities like hiking and wildlife spotting. The castle’s interiors showcase beautiful artworks and antiques, while its gardens reflect the elegance of the Renaissance period. The Loire Valley itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a mix of natural beauty, historical landmarks, and charming towns.
